Dawn has been working in the travel industry since 1986. She began working in the Vail Valley in 1996 in hotel sales and marketing. In 1999, she transitioned into destination management when she assumed the role of Director of Sales for a local DMC. Dawn then returned to the hotel industry as the Director of Sales and Conference Services for a small luxury hotel in the Vail Valley. With a full understanding of group movement in the Vail Valley from all perspectives, she returned to destination management as the General Manager for the Vail office of a regional DMC. After running this operation for over five years, she took a brief hiatus to be with her family. In 2012, Dawn returned to the industry by opening her own destination management company. Surrounded by seasoned professionals from this destination, Dawn and her partners are offering a fresh options to groups traveling to Colorado’s mountain resorts.

Amy has been working in the travel industry since 1982. She moved to the Vail Valley in 1985 as the Food and Beverage Director of a boutique hotel in Vail Village. From 1986 to 1999, she worked as the Director of Catering and Conference services at a large resort property in Vail and a boutique hotel in Beaver Creek. In 1999, she transitioned into destination management when she assumed the role of Account Manager and Director of Client Services for a local DMC. In 2003 Amy turned her energies to planning events for many Vail area non-profit organizations including; Taste of Vail, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Bravo! Vail, Big Beers, Belgians and Barley Wine, the Town of Vail. She also served as an elected Councilor for the Town of Avon. Knowing the valley from all perspectives, she has returned to the planning process in destination management as the Director of Operations for AlpineAccess. She is excited to contribute her well-rounded understanding of the DMC business in partnership with a highly qualified team lead by Dawn Harker and a staff of industry professionals that she understands and respects.
